| I love the Jedi wardrobe, and wish I had an outfit for myself. But, as I was noticing how different characters have their own style of clothing, I’ve noticed something else.
I have had this question for some time now, and I haven't had any real answers. I thought that some of you could know the answer to my strange question.
Here's my weird conundrum.
Ok, you know how female characters, such as Aayla Secura and Anakin's padawan wear revealing outfits? Well, not really revealing, but kind of? Well, how come male Jedi aren't even allowed to show the skin of their arms?
Just because I’m a girl, and asking this question doesn’t imply anything. I’m just curious. It seems like the guys have the lower end of the stick when it comes to wardrobe...

Guys are always at the lower end of the stick when it comes to wardrobe or fashion. But ultimately I think it just comes down to the individual character. It always amazes me how detailed the characters in Star Wars are.

| yeah, I guess that's true. It all depends on the individual character. But I still don't understand why they would be allowed to wear revealing outfits in the first place. If stuff like that is against the Code, then why do it? Maybe I'm just thinking too much into things... (But, Kit Fisto is ok. No one wants to swim with a lot of clothes on. lol.) | |

| Well it probably has a lot to do with the culture of their species. Aayla Secura's outfit is actually fairly modest compared to other Twilek' girls we see.
(Qui-Gon and Obi swim with their robes and everything on in EP I)

Obi-chan, i told you: SEXIST MALES!!!!! ^_^ Here's my view on the swimming with clothes, thing. Kit Fisto was actually fighting underwater, so therefore, is allowed to wear less clothing. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, on the other hand, were just following Jar Jar to the underwater city, and didn't need to take off their robes. That's my reason, and I'm sticking to it. lol (sigh)... I knew I shouldn't have posted my question. Now everyone is going to be arguing over such a silly thing... I stand by what I said before; I'm thinking way too much into things.

| Also in Kit Fisto's case I'm sure he had an extra robe waiting for him on one of the Republic ships.Unlike Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon who were on the run.I mean it would have been awkward of them showing up in Jar-Jars hometown half naked!! Lol | |
