| I was goofing around on the Disneyland Paris website last night and saw an advertisement that said "My Stitch" and you guys know how much i love that little blue guy, so i clicked on it. It turns out that My Stitch is a downloadable "living character" the is on your computer screen, kinda like that paper clip guy in Microsoft Word, Except It's Stitch. He dances, sings, crawls around the screen and all sorts of fun stuff, and also by being a good "parent" for Stitch you ear points with which you guy earn free downloads on the My Stitch Site, and the top leaders are posted on a leader board there too. If you like Stitch i really suggest you Check it out. Fyi, if you do sign up, pay close attention to what to fill out in each category bc it is different than the usual american style, for example, instead of putting 11/19 for y November 19th in the date of birth section, if that is your date of birth of course lol, you put 19/11. | |

| Europeans usually write dates as smallest to largest section of time (ie day / month / year). Americans write dates as they would usually say them (ie month / day / year). Canadians write dates as Europeans would (because Canada is still under British rule).
However, in the business world, you have to be conscious of who you do business with. You just can't assume everyone knows what you do (eg which way to write dates, etc.). If you're not sure - always write the date out in full (7/5/08 could be July 5 or May 7). If it's obvious what the date is (eg. 7/17/08), then there's no ambiguity. | |
