I'm going to add a new rule to this. This site generally runs on an Eastern Time Zone, so please make sure that it is the next day in your time zone before posting.

Just to clarify - you posted a question at 12:33am EST on Feb 1.

Does this mean we cannot post an answer until 12:01am EST on Feb 2?

No that means if i post a question at 12:33 am Feb 1 Eastern Time, you should not answer in any other time zone, until it passes 12 am Feb 1 in yours, eg 12 EST is 9 Pacific, so the people on the pacific coast need to wait three hours before answering, when it is 12 there time. And i do have ways of knowing lol

Ok - forgive me for sounding totally crazy now... It's as clear as mud - am I missing something?

So you post a question at 12:30am EST on Day 2. Those of us in the same time zone (or further East) will have the opportunity to answer the question on Day 2.

Does that not give some an unfair advantage for those who are west of EST (eg Central / Mountain / Pacific Time) - they have to wait until the click strikes midnight in their time zone to answer the question.

Why not just set a rule where you post a question during the night and we can't answer until 9am PT / Noon EST the next day?

Actually, i've been worrying about the Vice-Versa. It's 12:33 EST and 9:33 PST, giving the PST an unfair advantage by letting them answer before it was the day that the question was intended for.

Now I am really confused.....

Haha this rule is mostly for me cuz i live in the west. so stitch what you're saying is, where ever we live we just have to wait till after 12am to answer the question? right?

Correct except that Coruscant is in Return of the Jedi, and not in A New Hope. I'll give you 2 points for that answer
