| A new series of Muppet comic books is planned for release by BOOM! Studios. Paul Morrissey is serving as editor for the series, which is being written and illustrated by Roger Langridge (who had previously created Muppet comics for Disney Adventures magazine). The first issue is planned for release on March 25, 2009.
The initial four-issue mini-series of comics will be based on The Muppet Show. BOOM! Studios hopes to follow the initial series of The Muppet Show comics with Muppet adaptations of classic stories such as King Arthur, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers, Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Charming. | |
