Virtual Magic Star Wars

Here is the sadly short history of Star Wars and VMK. When VMK first started, in the time know as beta (before what is officially called day one of VMK), all we VMKers had was Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, and hopes and dreams about what else they were going to put in VMK. There was a very large community of Star Wars fans though. (this was 2005 right before, during, and after the Hype of the final Star Wars movie Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Since the movie has been on DVD for quite some time now the fan base has died out some on VMK.) At the high point, just about every other room was Star Wars Themed and so many fans requested that the word "Jedi" be added to the dictionary they did just that. We all began speculating what the new lands were going to be like. The long awaited day came when Tomorrowland and Frontierland came out! All of us fans were hoping for a Star Tours room in VMK.. We were sadly disappointed. There was absolutely nothing Star Wars themed in the new Tomorrowland, not even a pin or something. Saddened fans reacted and after a little bit of time they added the first and only official Star Wars item in VMK... they added the Starspeeder 3000 (The ship you fly in on the Star Tours attraction) as one of the playable vechicles in the "Blast in Space" game in the Tomorrowland arcade. Fans were content be we still ask for more Star Tours themed stuff in VMK every now and then. Hopefully on the next build of Tomorrowland us fans will get a few more Star Tours things. As for now, keep hoping and May the force be with you all.
